  • Prior office administrative experience (Required)
  • Prior experience working in Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
  • Prior experience working in financial advisory industry (Preferred)
  • High school diploma (Required)
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

Want some more specifics? If you join the Great Lakes Investment Advisors team, here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and check voicemail
  • Confirm scheduled appointments and events with clients via phone and email
  • Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Sort and handle mail and invoices
  • Create and maintain welcome packs, foil envelope mailers, and thank you cards
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for financial advisors
  • Take inventory and order office supplies
  • Assist with marketing, newsletters, social media
  • Help plan client events and campaigns
  • Clean and prep meeting rooms for visits
  • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships with clients
  • All other duties as assigned
