Jason Cryderman
President
As president and co-founder of Great Lakes Investment Advisors, Jason is focused on helping clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for retirement income.
Jason began his career in the insurance industry in 1998 and as a Registered Investment Advisor in 2010. His passion is working with retirees and those preparing for retirement to develop and monitor investment and income strategies tailored to meet their life goals. He has helped hundreds of families appropriately manage their investment exposure to taxes, fees and risk.
Jason is a licensed Investment Adviser Representative (IAR). He has passed the Series 65 securities exam and holds licenses in life and health insurance as well as variable annuities. He has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
Jason is active with the United Way and sits on the board of the MSU Alumni Club of Midland County.
Jason and his wife, Amy, live in Sanford, Michigan, with their two daughters, Alexis and Joslyn, son Carson and their dogs, Gunner & Diezel. They enjoy spending time together as a family, including all kinds of sports, outdoor activities, snowmobiling and boating. Jason also enjoys hockey, golf, fishing and hunting.

This endorsement of Gradient Investments, LLC, (GI) and its portfolio management services is provided by the firm. The firm refers clients to GI for portfolio management services. GI does not pay separate compensation to the firm in relation to its endorsement or any promotional services. However, the firm receives a portion of the advisory fees paid by clients who utilize the portfolio management services of GI. The firm also shares in the revenue of GI via quarterly payments based on the amount of total assets the firm places with GI. This endorsement incentivizes the firm in increasing the assets placed with GI, and therefore the compensation received by the firm. The firm and its investment advisor representatives are not supervised by GI. While these conflicts of interest exist, the firm and its investment advisor representatives are subject to fiduciary duty and must act in the best interests of their clients. The firm and their clients are not required to use GI and may select other investment managers.
